Lie down on your back. Bring your knees up towards your chest and your feet apart.
Towel:
Fold the towel in half. Place your feet in the center of the towel. Place one hand through the looped end, then cross the loose ends of the towel in your other hand.
Movement:
Slowly, extend your legs up and out without locking your elbows while pulling down on the towel with your arms.
Push and pull the towel in each direction to add resistance.
Then pull down with your arms as your knees bend to your chest and you return to your starting position.
Duration:
20 times with your feet close together and 20 times with your feet wider apart.
Variation:
Try extending your feet lower down towards the floor.
Also try moving your feet in clockwise and counterclockwise curricular motion.
